  something just struck me.. is the wts the only religion that won't kick people out for abusing children, but would kick you out for visiting a website that informs you that the wts won't kick people out for abusing children .... it really shows where their sensibilities lie.

  they are more interested in acting as gatekeepers to information, especially information about them, than providing basic levels of protection to the children of their members.. maybe someone with a better turn of phrase can shorten it, it might make a good meme - something short and simple that really makes people think:.

  "the wts - tougher on those who read reports of jw child abuse than on jws who conduct child abuse".

  Wow Blondie I didn't realise they frowned on Strong's Concordance. I have had that one for years.

  I think I may have taken my Concordance to a Tuesday group. If it wasn't that it was something related. Anyway, the Group Study Conductor was alarmed with me looking at the Bible in such depth.

  At London Bethel, when I spoke to one of the WT writers about the Greek and Hebrew words, he immediately asked if I was apostate. I was stunned. He's the one who did the big collection of Bibles at London Bethel. In fairness to him, he did apologise to me afterwards.

  Another thought - shorten the Bible by saying it is too expensive to print all of it. The main message are the words of Jesus Christ. Then say the rest is online.

  Just like shortening the magazines, you can shorten the Bible.

  Then drop the mags, drop the Bible and just transmit your stuff. But make sure people have to log on to view.
  

  Carry on like this and all you are left with is GB smiling next to Caleb and Sophia and you can not only identify who is watching but penalise them if they don't.

  Sitting through boring meetings and obeying orders an ordeal. But if you think it could get you in the WT movies and you want that...

  A - "What do you do?"

  B - "What are your goals?"

  A - "I am pioneering this month and I want to regular pioneer."

  B - "Would you like to help out back-stage at this years convention?"

  the watchtower's many legal problems and the jws' use of carts in their preaching work, reminded me of a scene and dialog from the film patton.. in a scene where patton is viewing a battle site the morning after, he says to an aide about the nazis: “you know how i know that they're finished out there?

  in my dreams i saw the carts.

  they kept buzzing around in my head and i couldn't figure out why.

  They are doing the 'green' message. Climate change, polar bear, bumble bees. They are aiming themselves at university students and the young.
  

  They'll keep going but I suspect they'll have to drop the Bible at some point. Or drop Jesus and Our Father or something.

  Maybe they'll change the name of the Awake back to the Golden Age and start speaking highly of the Greek and Roman gods and some special knowledge that was lost when Atlantis sunk. Then they could point out that Vishnu means the man Noah and advocate Transcendentalism.

  It's just Matthew to Acts? Well that'd great if you were trying to show someone where the name Jehovah was in the Hebrew scripture.

  I love this bit

  The WTS/GB also seems to think that a jw’s love “cool off” because another member does not show up to clean the KH.

  I think what it means is bro and sis so-and-so are not going to show up and clean the toilets for Elder Annoying. So it means he actually has to do it himself.

  yes an elder actually confessed to me that 50% he said from the platform was rubbish.

  that was in 2006. now in 2019 i have recently been thrown out of the watchtower organisation.

  Hi Vidiot - yes they are just messing with semantics constantly. So that speach just becomes a babble of nonsense.

  At one point when I took on the 5 elders, the Chairman of the "judicial" which I did not attend, literally babbled nonsense for about a minute. He was incapable of stringing two words together and it sounded like "wu uh b wh d bu whu." He went on like that cause i said something like, "so if Jesus stuck to the words of the prophet Daniel (like me), would you say he was apostate?"

  His response was, "wu uh b wh d bu whu uu eeh eh bu wuh." (etc) Until eventually he said, "well no that'd be silly."

  Tadua on Beroean Picketts just pointed out to me that the article is referring to God's universal organisation not his earthly organisation. So they have a get out.

  But peaceful pete spotted that deliverance can come to us individually if we study the Bible, believe it and live according to it.

  So we don't need the WT.

  And, yup Fink's got it right. WT are apostates, false prophets and may I add, anti-Christs.
